Solar Water Heating: Free Fuel, Forever! www.freefuelforever.com

This is really just the story of my life, told through the series of mini stories on the menu to the left.  My life has been mostly the life of a pilot, so this is a story of a pilot, or rather, a pilot’s progress, from being a flight instructor to an airline captain.  I figure it is appropriate to start with advice to those of you who are at the other end of the road from me, maybe thinking about what a life in aviation would be like. Zambia! Is about volunteering in Africa to get a little multi-engine flying time, an example of something new pilots can do to build some time. Surveyor is my time as an airborne geophysics pilot, a respectable lifetime career for a few pilots. Bush pilot is about where many Canadian pilots end up-small towns in the north of Canada, functioning as the link between native communities and the rest of the outside world. Learjet pilot is about my first jet aircraft job, so anyone who has never flown jets can get an idea of what turbojet transitions are all about. Medevac pilot is a description of what I went through to save people’s lives in the Learjet, and what it did to my life. Arctic Airline is about my First Airline job on the Boeing 727, from selection to training to line checks, so this would be interesting to anyone who wants to fly for an airline and wonders what it would be like for the first time. Budget Airline is about being hired, trained for and flying for a discount airline on the Boeing 737. Captain Upgrade talks about the selection and training  on my first upgrade to captain on a commercial airliner. The present, Dubai Dreaming, flying the Boeing 777 from Arabia to the world, in progress!
